Transportaion and other info:
US Ski Lodging and Mountain West Ski Tours can arrange a rental car or shuttle service for you stay. If you will be arriving and skiing only Snowbird and Alta, you may not need a car. To go to the valley alot and other ski resorts, you will want to have your own transportation. If you rent a car, 4WD is recommended because rental agencies won't supply or allow chains. There is a free shuttle service to and from Alta and Snowbird.
Directions- Enter Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird ski area turn right at Snowbird entry four. Go down a hill, cross a small bridge, pass a gigantic building on your right then start up the canyon again. After about 1/4 of a mile you'll pass an entry on the right, then a second one. We are the second entry on the way up. It is a sharp right hand turn and you won't be able to see the sign until you're turned around. Go all the way up the driveway (don't turn right halfway up).

Blackjack Lodge is a are a four-story, cedar-sided building with a big sign over the front door.
